Race Preps and Tunes:

World Cup: Includes side walls planed and filed back, base and side edges hand shaped to desired angle and polished with diamond files and ceramics to the finest grit. Bases prepped with standard Swix base prep and hot box treatment*. Skis are ready for the wax of your choice.

-  This prep is great for new skis and I highly recomend it. The hot box treatment allows waxes to penetrate the ski base resulting in a longer lasting and faster wax.

Gold Medal: Includes side walls planed and filed back, base and side edges hand shaped to desired angle and polished with diamond files and ceramics to the finest grit. Base cleaned by applying swix CH-10, then scraping and brushing the wax off, repeating that cycle several times. Then desired wax can be applied.

*Hot box treatment: Increases wax penetration and builds durability in the ski base through a few cycles. First, a softer base prep wax with an iron is applied, then the ski is placed in a Toko hot box for further wax penetration. The previous cycle is repeated with a harder wax. Then the wax is scraped and a brush cycle is performed on the ski base to finish it off.

Race day: Edges are sharpened and polished, and the right wax for the race day will be applied along with a brush cycle to the ski base.
